Frame.lab

Chrome logo in 3D

Chrome is the most requested finish for 3D logos: sharp reflections, a polished-metal look and a lot of presence. Apply it to your logo in a few clicks and compare it with other metallic finishes.

Try it in the editor

Frame.lab metallic finishes

You get polished chrome, with mirror reflections, and black chrome, darker and more restrained. There are also golds, a pink metallic, worn-metal and aged-steel finishes, and special materials such as glass. Polished chrome, black chrome and gold are free; the rest are part of the Pro plan.

How to get a good chrome

A mirror material reflects its surroundings, which is why Frame.lab uses studio lighting and you see the reflections in real time while you edit. A soft bevel and a generous depth help: smooth walls catch the light better. On a dark or transparent background, chrome stands out more than on plain white.

Fine-tune every detail

You can change the color, the metalness and the roughness of any material, or upload your own texture maps for a custom finish. When you are happy, export as an image, an animated video or a 3D model.

Step by step

  1. Upload your logo as a PNG or SVG.
  2. In Material, choose “Polished chrome” or another finish.
  3. Adjust the depth and bevel from the Shape tab.
  4. Try a dark or transparent background from Scene.
  5. Export the image or the video.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between polished and black chrome?

Polished chrome reflects like a mirror, with very defined reflections; black chrome is darker and more restrained, with a deeper, more subtle look.

Can I have the logo in gold instead of chrome?

Yes, there is a gold material and you can switch finish at any time without re-uploading the logo.

Can I use the result for my brand?

With the Pro plan, yes: it includes a commercial-use license while the subscription is active. The free plan is for personal use only and adds a watermark.
